ECOLL 2026 – Authority, Control and Power at Work: From the Industrial to the Digital Era

4th Early Career Seminar on Comparative Labour Law

The fourth edition of the comparative labour law ECOLL seminars, organised by the Labour Law Community-LLC, will take place on the beautiful island of Salina (Aeolian Islands, Sicily), from 3 to 7 October 2026.

The theme selected for this edition is: “Authority, Control, and Power at Work: from the Industrial to the Digital Era“.

The ECOLL seminars are open to all labour law scholars in the early phases of their career, including PhD candidates and post-doctoral researchers within five years from obtaining their PhD. A maximum number of 25 early career scholars will be selected for the 2026 edition.

Interested early career scholars are kindly invited to manifest their intention to participate in our next ECOLL Seminar by filling out this form no later than 15 April 2026, enclosing an academic CV and a motivation letter.

Applicants will be notified the results of the selection no later than 30 April 2026. Accepted applicants will be sent further instructions.

The participation in the ECOLL Seminars is free of costs. Accommodation and food costs will be covered by the Labour Law Community for all participants. Travel costs are not covered and will be borne by each participant.
